Refund Policy

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment. If you are not satisfied with Imbue Lang within 14 days of your first charge, you can request a full refund — no questions asked.

This guarantee applies only to your first subscription payment and is available once per account. Subsequent billing cycles are not eligible for the money-back guarantee.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or through the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel:

• You will continue to have full access to all features until the end of your current billing period.
• No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
• Your vocabulary, progress, and saved content are preserved. You can resubscribe at any time to regain access.

3. Credit Pack Refunds

Credit packs purchased as one-time add-ons are eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

• Unused credit packs purchased within the last 14 days are eligible for a full refund.
• Partially or fully used credit packs are not eligible for a refund, as the credits have already been consumed.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

1. Email support@imbue-lang.com with the email address associated with your account and a brief description of why you are requesting a refund.
2. Alternatively, you can request a refund directly through the Stripe billing portal linked in your subscription confirmation email.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days and will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

5. Stripe as Payment Processor

Stripe (“Stripe”) acts as our payment processor and handles payment processing and refund disbursement. Imbue Lang is the seller of record and is responsible for billing, invoicing, and applicable tax compliance. When a refund is approved, Stripe processes the refund to your original payment method.

The exact timing of when the refund appears on your statement depends on your payment provider (credit card company, bank, PayPal, etc.) and may vary.

6. Exceptions

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

• Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
• Free trial periods, as no payment was made.
• Requests made after the applicable refund window has closed.
